Ihaha Campsite is located along the Chobe Riverfront, about 35 kilometers west of Kasane, right inside Chobe National Park. This campsite is one of the most popular choices for self-drive travelers because of its spectacular riverside location and high chances of wildlife sightings directly from camp.<\/p>

The campsite has no fences, meaning wildlife moves freely through the area. Elephants, hippos, buffalo, and even predators are known to pass through, especially in the evenings and early mornings. This makes Ihaha a true classic bush camping experience, where you constantly feel part of the natural environment.<\/p>

Facilities are basic but sufficient, with toilets and cold showers, and each campsite is spaced out enough to provide privacy. There are only a handful of campsites, widely spaced apart, each equipped with a basic braai area, a water tap, and a long-drop toilet. As with most campsites in Chobe, there are no fences, and wildlife can move freely around the camp.<\/p>

Because of its location near the river, Linyanti is known for frequent sightings of elephants, hippos, large buffalo herds, lions, and an incredible variety of birdlife. During the dry season, animals gather here in large numbers, making it an excellent base for game drives in a quieter part of Chobe.<\/p>

What makes Magotho special is its location near the Khwai River, which attracts wildlife throughout the day.
